2.10/2.15 – sit – Introduction

– talk about talking about nuclear weapons

– postcard, briefing, FAQ, book – who’s read the book?

– people who know and trust us vs people on street vs public figures etc

– prophets and reconcilers

2.20 – spectrum lines

  1. prophet or reconciler?
  2. how comfortable talking to a prophet or reconciler
  3. how many nuclear conversations

2.25/2.30 – brainstorm responses to some of the conversations people have had

– what about North Korea?

– why is it an issue?

– kept us safe so far

– already decided, no point in raising it now

– never going to get rid of them, get used to it

2.50 – sit- Ten steps to more productive conversations – hand out booklets and go through each step, as chapters in book…

3/3.10 – (tea?) preparation – in pairs/groups – do some homework, brush up on facts

3.20 – Forum theatre – I am devil’s advocate, others taking turns to rebut
